The motion sensor works pretty well over here.
in IE browser you can easily set the sensitivity and the threshold when it should start recording, although i'm still at test setup here it seems to work well.
However samba saving i have not gotten to work yet.
And recordings hopefully are never relevant 
when you need them they seem to be good, its smooth and good quality recordings, but if you have the camera record ans safe the files they are roughly 6MB big max resulting in 20sec snippits (roughly) so a bit short, but works well.
Next to having the camera safe and arrange the recordings i can recommend having an external program/computer also arrange motion sensor and recordings.
