Hi TFMorgan. As far as I know, WVC80N's motion sensor video storage only works with FTP servers that is accessible from WAN side. You may have to configure your FTP server to be accessible from outside your network. If your HP MediaSmart Server (that is running on Windows Home Server 2003) can be configured to have an WAN accessible FTP server, that would be the solution. I am not familiar on how to configure it; might be helpful that you seek help from someone knowlegable in HP or Microsoft.
